Maps Counseling Services (www.mapsnh.org), is seeking a New Hampshire licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor (MLADC), or a N.H. licensed adult psychotherapist with substance use experience to work in a private, outpatient psychotherapy practice. Funding is available for therapists to receive supervision and training to become an MLADC if they are already licensed as a mental health counselor, social worker, psychologist, or some other mental health profession. Maps supports a trauma-informed approach to substance use problems and encourages holistic psychotherapy for clients in recovery.
Maps is also seeking two New Hampshire licensed child psychotherapists who can work with children, adolescents and possibly families. Must have a masters or doctorate in psychology or mental health and experience working with children in an outpatient setting. Maps has a very strong child team and a very high referral stream of children seeking services.
